I'm wondering how Elmo's World is filmed...

What type of camera is used? Is it analog or digital?

Do they use a green screen?

I can't recall if they use a blue or greenscreen (most productions tend to use green now) but it's most likely now recorded in D-Beta, digital version of Betacam SP, which is the standard format for broadcasting.

It'll be interesting to see if they've shot the new season in high-def.

Muppeteer Rick Lyon has some images of the puppeteers performing some of the "digital puppets" (moving doors, windows, etc.) on his site at http://www.lyonpuppets.com/elmosworld.html
