Do you know what makes me think it's dumb?

SSU is only shown on early Monday mornings and nobody wants to make a CTW channel with Unpaved, TEC, Square One Television, 3-2-1 Contact, etc. and nobody sends me any of the SSU episodes! I am really upset about this!

I'd send you SSU tapes if I could remember to tape them in the first place. :embarrassed:

I'm sure there's a lot financial reasons there isn't a CTW network. After all, creating TV networks cost millions and millions of dollars and if they don't feel they can make a profit out of it (I'm sure they did a lot of market research), why would they do it?

That being said, they should provide SOME outlet for those of us who need a Classic Sesame fix!

Classic Sesame DVDs!

Or how about a customized DVD -- where you can pick and choose whole episodes or certain segments. I'm sure they could charge a premium for those and I know that I'd pay for it!

I agree! I've loved watching the old Muppet show episodes and am going to buy the entire set eventually; I'd buy every one if I could!

I'd love to give my son the opportunity to see all the sketches they don't use anymore because they were deemed inappropriate; some of those were my favorites! (the bakers, in particular TWELVE ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!!!)

Mikealan, I'd be happy to start your collection if you just emailed me about it. As long as you're polite to those who offer to help you out in such matters, you'll succeed in getting what you want.

WOW! Hays, I've never heard of that Baker #12 sketch. Was it shown on Unpaved?

My guess..... we COULD have a Sesame Workshop Channel... if we all go out and buy a million Elmo dolls, T-shirts, videos, toys, coloring books, CD's, games....etc... :embarrassed: :frown: :stick_out_tongue:

(Heavily addicted to Muppet Smilies)

Anyway, even if we DID have a SW channel, I'd bet they'd just rerun Dragon Tales a million times..... uhg~!

Sorry - I made that up - and put the comma in the wrong place. I do vaguely remember the ice cream sandwiches, though!
