How do I begin to create a Kermit the Frog Puppet?

I have watched the Muppets for years and always wanted my own Kermit the Frog puppet, for those experienced puppeteers out there that have made Kermit, where did you begin? What pattern did you use? Was he a difficult or simple Muppet to make? Thank you in advance.

I used the The Glorified Sock Puppet Pattern, from Project Puppet.com. I also bought the alternate body for the simple series. My Kermit is turning out pretty good so far. I modified it by making a full foam skull. Good luck on your adventure. I modified it by
