hey i am making a gonzo puppet help needed

I have always liked gonzo so i thought i would make one i already carved the head and it is amazing but i need help with the beak thing its such a wierd color and also how his eyes get really big somtimes so please help. :concern:

The eye blink is a mechanism that has been discussed many times on this forum. Try the "search function." Basically his eyes are rigged so that when you press a lever the eyelids roll back. Puppet Planet has a picture tutorial about these mechs. As for the nose, I think it was carved and then flocked. For some inspiration go to http://www.angelfire.com/jazz/puppets/. He has made some wonderful Muppet replicas.

There are lots of old threads dealing with making a Gonzo. Use the search feature to search the puppetry forum for "Gonzo" or "Gonzo puppet".
