Sounds like my father and his five stages of names:

1) "Bud" (I'm being great)
2) "Man" (A little less so)
3) "Liam" (I'm in trouble)
4) "Liam Patrick" (I'm in really deep trouble)
5) "Liam Patrick O'Keefe" (I'm about to be harmed)
