Can't believe no one's reported this yet.

JHC has produced a new series called Word Party, which is a vocabulary-based preschool program using its digital puppetry system, and will be heading to the streaming service around June 3 along with two other original series.

Nice to see that the JHC is still getting lots of shows out there. Between Dinosaur Train, The Doozers, that upcoming John Tartaglia puppet show about fish and now this show, these shows are what's really keeping The Jim Henson Company alive.

It's too bad there won't be any live puppets like we originally saw when this project was first announced.

That screen was apparently from a different series, so we can thank Tough Pigs for misleading us.

It's disappointing, I know, but they're at least using the digital puppetry technology that Jim pioneered back in the '80s, unlike Dinosaur Train.
