No doubt, he's my favorite muppet  (Wow, even on this site muppet is a spelling error.) Anyways, i would like to make, and or model one of my puppets after him! Any insights on making the head? He has a distinct "curl" that goes upward on his lower lip, which may or may not present a challenge. He also has a smaller mouth then my puppets. I myself and have only used a round head pattern.

Any help/tips are appreciated! :insatiable:

George is definitely one of the most appealing human Muppets.

I believe his head is carved foam... not a fleece covered thing. So if you want to be "screen accurate" you're going to have to investigate your talent for carving foam. There are plenty of tutorials out there with that information. Lacking that, I'm sure you can get lots of advice here!

Otherwise, if you're looking at doing something that's similar and cool, you should start by getting lots of photographic reference and think about how you would break down his head shape into managable parts that can be joined together. Make your pieces from whatever is convenient, foam, stuffed fabric, etc.

There's more than one way to skin a cat!
