I am watching Americas Scariest Halloween attractions on travel, which made me start thinking, which haunted atractions have you been to? Which ones where really scary? Which ones where really lame? Which ones where so scary they were cool?

As featured on the special, I have been to Eastern State Penetentary's haunted house. It was LAME. It wasnt scary at all. It didnt deserve to be on that special. The scariest thing was the price to go in :stick_out_tongue:

Also mentioned on the special (actually, special #2), I have been to Field of Screams in PA. That place is great. If you live anywhere near lancaster pa, go go go! They have a hayride, a regualr haunted house and a 3d (at least the last time I went) hanuted house.

If I am not getting them confused with other haunted houses, one of the ones at field of screams had this really neat blacklight neon room, and all it was was 4 walls with a bumch of doors. You had to pick the right one. Most of them just has things painted behind them, but one had a "person" behind it. Actually, we got lost (if you can believe that. I mean, how do you get lost in a room?) and the guy had to show us the correct door :embarrassed:

I've been to other ahunted attractions. But I think those are the 2 that stand out the most.

Me personaly, I dont really like haunted houses, I dont like being crammed in a small area with a group of other people, or trying to find my way through them. I'm terrible with directions. You wouldnt know how many times we have endded up going backwards and the dummies behind us following us. For some reason, we are always the first people in, so we end up kinda leading the group.

But I am a haounted hayride addict. I love them.

There was one haunted hayride I went on that had this really cool robotic dragon destroying a schoolbus. It even breathed fire and sprayed "spit" at you

I am not a fan of haunted houses (or scary movies). For a moment I thought you meant real haunted houses..Since I do believe in ghosts I would much rather leave them alone than pay to see them or any of the 'this person went crazy here' houses. No thank you :stick_out_tongue:

There's this amusement part where I used to live and they had this hunted house that they ended up turning into a fun house because it really wasn't the scary. They built a new haunted house that was muhc better. I just get scared of dark places I can't not find my way out of. But I really hate gong through those trick mirrors.:stick_out_tongue:

Like the one back in my hometown where the spectre who lives there is prankster that loves to trick people (think Beetlejuice, but less perverted and abnormal)?

That is, he always did like causing trouble. But then again, his over-confident exhuberance is what caused his demise, because the house he died in was already as old as dirt before he died, anyway. In fact, before he died, he loved exploring in what would become his home (or rather, a prison, because he cannot leave it). The problem? One of the top floors of the old place was rotting away the last time he explored in it and he fell through it...and you could all guess the rest.

Anyway, one of my cousins went to said house recently (as of a few years ago in 2001 or so) and was scared out of his wits! Oddly enough though, my said cousin likes to pretend that he's not afraid of anything (i.e. he thinks he's not afraid when everyone can tell he is), and so, it's funny to see him get spooked every so often.

Although, specifically speaking, I've never had any problems with the apparition. But then again, I always did love being mischevious in October...

*figuratively speaking, devil horns grow upon his head*

Since I do believe in ghosts I would much rather leave them alone than pay to see them.
Unless they like being an attraction.
