Happy Birthday to Garfield!

I love Garfield, and today was his 30th birthday! I can't belive he is only about five years older than me, his first comics always looked so much older (in a good way)....

My favorite version of Garfield is when Garfield and Friends was on, and my two favorite cartoons from that time are The Garfield Opera and The Picnic Panic...

I also liked the times when he would act like a cat and try to catch birds and get caught up trees

Funny, I just watched those three episodes the other day. I love Garfield! Happy Birthday to him and I hope he gets a cake made of his favorite food - Mondays...or was it lasanga. I get those confused.

Woo-hoo! My second-favorite comic (after Good Ol' Charlie Brown), has lasted 30 years!

A large dish of lasagna for the fat cat...Nermal is nowhere to be seen (probably in Abu Dahbi)...Odie is minding his own business, chasing his tail, and Jon is futiley trying to get a date.

Oh, and in Garfield's world, it's always the weekend...never Monday.

Yep, things can't get any better! Even Binky the Clown can't get him down today...

I saw today's comic strip of him celebrating his birthday. He seemed bummed about getting older and the disadvantages of getting old. But he was happy that there was cake.
