Holy tamole, Luke is it your birthday again? My goodness...remember what I said about ocming in waves? But I digress...

Luke, you have been what I'd consider the corner stone and the voice of knowlege and reason within the Muppet fandom community. I remember when ya first came on around 2001...sure we had our own quips at eachother here and there, but there was something just irresistable and fun about your postings.
The wolrd could implode and Luke would find both something positive and critical to say...it's that balance I think we have always appreciated here.

Thanks for all the nice things youve had to say, and brining up the brighter said of things...its a perspective we have all needed.

And for the love of pete...the penguins. Penguins have always been my favorite animal, and somehow youve managed to encaptulate that arctic waddle fervor. Not quite sure what else to say, other than its been a blast having ya aboard...your sense of humor(humour?) and thought process is unique and untouchable. It's been a pleasure chattin it up with ya about everything and nothing at all. Anyways, I hope you are having an absolute kick...err butt birthday day!

Thanks all you guys for the cool birthday wishes. I had a fantastic day, one of the best yet actually - although my girlfriend was in Paris (and just for the record i am only linking those two statements for news purposes - haha). I got some Muppet figures, the ALF DVD set, a Pen set, Money, loadsa Sweets and one of those funky "Britney Spears" style headset/mic thingies where you can look really silly while speaking on the phone without having to hold it. I also got sung Happy Birthday on a 12am conference call of about 15 people, probably all too drunk to remember the words properly so we had quite a lot of variation in lyrics. I had a nice dinner with family and the festivities will continue now as "she who must be obeyed" re-enters the UK (subject to customs actually letting her back in of course).

Cory, you are waaaaaay too kind sir. Yes we are about 5/7 hours ahead of the USA Crazy Harry, and Phillip - it is indeed a shock to get another year older when it just feels like just a few months have passed since the last one. As the Boyraisin said - Britney Spears & Penguins for all !
