Ok its been a long time coming but the head is finally done..

Looking good! He's definitely Elmo. The eyes do seem a touch on the small side, but you seem to have captured his likeness pretty well!

Great work, definitely looks like Elmo to me. Did you make the head pattern yourself, or did you fashion it from an existing pattern? When I made mine, I used the mostro puppet pattern from project puppet, which seemed to have enough of a likeness for my purpose. Love the choice of fur, it's absolutely perfect.

Cheers.. Yea the eyes came up up perfect on the foam skull but forgot to account for the extra bulk the fur gives the head doh!
The skull started as the melonhead pattern but i altered it slightly bt making the mouth wider and gave the head more depth

GREAT!! I myself would love an elmo replica i have this red blanket that would make a descent elmo as soon as my skills if ever get to the point im trying to make one out of it but surely it will not be as spot on as yours kudos sir i tip me hat to ye
