A lot of the "non-core" Muppet cast have been, shall we say, left behind in the recent re-focus on the original characters. That is to say, nothing has happened to them, there just haven't been that many storylines to go around. If and when the opportunity comes up, Grungie may return, as did Gladys in the Karaoke episode.

Grungetta is still a favorite of Pam's and she still makes occasional live appearances at charity events etc.

I really dig the new focus on the classic characters, but over the years a few of the non-core group have become slightly important to us, like Grungetta. I look forward to her return--just not at the expense of getting rid of classic character screen time.

The one Sence that I like in any Sesame street Or Muppet speical is the MFC. Now there is all the classic Characters that need to come back when there all standing outside and all the characters (not Franklin) but that is what they need to do is bring alot of those characters back. I have it on DVD but could someone name most of the characters that they don't use that much of in that sence. I'll try and make a list but if someone can help me that would be great. Thanks.
