I always thought it was a shame how Bert and Grover were both performed by Frank Oz, and now theyr'e both performed by Eric Jacobson. They really haven't been together much. The only time I ever recall seeing just the 2 of them together was in Prarie Dawn's Pagaent about Body Parts. But For some reason I always figured these 2 would work GREAT together. I can Just see Grover Walking into the Apartment saying "HEEEYYYYY BERTY BABY!!!..........." and slapping Bert on the back. I can just imagine Grover annoying Bert in ways that Ernie never dreamed of. I can see him getting Bert very angry and fed up. I really think if these 2 had different performers, they would definetley be a good pair. Bert would definetley make an excellent straight man for Grover. What does everyone else think?

Yeah But they don't really interact if youv'e ever notice. I'm talking about just the 2 of them talking to each other.

The only time....the ONLY time I've ever heard Bert mention Grover (and Cookie Monster) by name

was in 1973 in the skit where Ernie's trying to go to sleep but is afraid to because of monsters

and Bert tries to comfort him by saying that Ernie already knows "Herry, Grover, and Cookie" and they're monsters.

And on the same note, I've only seen ERNIE and KERMIT THE FROG in the same room saying lines (but not to each other):

Do the Rubber Duck song.

As I mention earlier Grover and Bert were in Prarie Dawn's Pagaent together about Body Parts. It was in the part about Ears. And they both said their lines together. I don't remember too much about this, but I saw it on Play with Me Sesame a few years ago when I had Noggin. It did seem cool to see them speak together at the same time seeing as how they were both voiced by Frank Oz. Good dubbing Frank!

Don't forget those two songs they did for SS.

Ones about sleeping and the other is what they each like. Those songs have all three Frank Oz characters. I can't think of those songs names but there all Frank Oz characters together.

Thanks. I had just thought about the name when I went to sleep last night but thanks Dante.
