Does anyone know of or where I can get a stencil pattern of the gold lining that is in the interior of the Muppet theatre and on Statler and Waldorfs Box? I need this, because I plan on creating a Puppet Thaeatre and I want to theme it on The Muppet Show. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I don't know where you would find that exact pattern - since the show was made in the UK over 25 years ago I doubt it's commercially available and it was probably a custom job by a scenic painter anyway. You should be able to search the net and find out how to do a faux gold leaf finish. I think Martha Stewart has explained this on her show before so there might even be instructions on her site or in a back issue of one of her magazines at the library.

well, this is what I would do...
1)get a good picture

2)then re-create it in Adobe illustrator if you want it to be exact, grab a few clip art books and get all the fleur de lye's and art nouveau borders etc then get drawing!

it may not be exact but I bet with a little bit of work you would get a pretty close representation, is it the back of the box you are trying to do? or the front bit where they sit etc if you need any help let me know and I'll find some suitable clip art for you....
