I have a very neat Grover puppet that's very similar in style and size to the Topper/Educational Toys/Child Guidance Grover puppet. His head does not have the plastic liner the Topper version had, but the upper half of Grover's head is stuffed and sewn to keep his head "round" and "full". He has a pink fabric nose, and his eyes are white felt with black plastic pupils. His mouth is lined with black felt with a red lower lip much like the Topper/Child Guidance Grover.
His tag says he was manufactured by Clemens Spieltiere. The German company seems to specialize in making high-end Teddy Bears (sort of like Steiff.) But I can find no info that they ever produced a line of SESAME STREET puppets, and I don't see them listed on the Muppet Wiki either. Does anyone know anything about the Clemens SESAME puppets? What other characters were made? When were they produced?
I'm attaching a photo of him below. I'd appreciate any info anyone might have
