Today’s V/A focus is Gary Owens who just turned 72 last week. Gary Owens has one of the most famous and familiar sounding voices in the entertainment world. He was famous for doing narrations and announcer voices for commercials, radio, movies, and TV shows, especially for Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In. Gary is also great at voicing superheroes like the original Space Ghost and the Blue Falcon.

Wait, wasn't he the guesser in choses films from sesame street where he was guessing what the drawing was. and the kids had to tell him if he was right or not?

They didn't decide to remove the stache so much as MGM's Lawyers decided that they have it removed. After all, with it, he looks very similar to a non-bionic bumbling detect zat ve all know, you know.
