This is probably a rully stupid question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway. In the TMS days, when you look at Kermit, Robin, or about any frog closely, you can see all sorts of tiny little specs of fuzz all over them. Yet on newer productions, you can't. Is this a matter of material used to make the puppets? Or is it lighting? Something else?

I'm no expert, but it's most likely just the material.

It COULD be from the age of the material too. Sometimes, fuzzy, fleecy material starts to clump together with age. But I doubt this is the case due to how often they rebuild puppets.

I think that, yes, they use better felt now, but I also think it has to do with the camera. They might use a special function.

Not sure, but I think there's something about switching the fabric company.
