I had this vivid SS dream last night. Haven't had one in a while, maybe all this talk, about it creeps into my subconcious and blah blah blah.
I remember: I knew that a classic episode was going to be on and my heart and sould was dying to see it. The opening credits were basically the same as the orginal 70's one, but at one point, it had David waving and his name scrawled along the bottom. There was a few animated sketches with counting animated balls, and a rhyme with an alligator/kangaroo hybrid. Yikes. Well, the plot line was that Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. were lamenting the loss of Jim Henson and how the group was never the same without him. And true to the original episode, there was a brief cameo of Carol Burnett smoking a cigarette (!!) and basically agreeing with them. Susan showed up at one point sticking her head out the apartment window singing a song to go along with an animated segment. The overall look of this dream seemed so authentic and real.
What made it all the more odd, was that there were no muppets in it.
Just thought I'd share. I know there was a thread about this, but I'm pressed for time to go hunting for it.
Ciao
