Good and bad:

Good - I speak french. So, yay!

Bad - I'm not european, so it doesnt matter if I can speak french or not, since I won't ever end up seeing it.

RavageFrackle,
What kind of Muppets are in it? The original gang? And where is it (the pilot) being filmed?

UK Puppeteer Nigel Plaskitt seems to be also taking part :
He is currently assisting the setting up of the London version of AVENUE Q for Cameron Mackintosh and THE MUPPET SHOW in France for Disney.

I can understand Sesame Street, but what's the point of a geo-centric Muppet show? A French Muppet show...hmmm. I could see maybe a Euro Muppet Show with a whole new set of characters, but the Muppet Show should have a broad appeal. At any rate, in America Muppet fans still have'nt seen most of the European Muppet ventures(Mopatop, Hoobs, etc) so it doesn't surprise me
that they could be working on this without anyone knowing.

Perhaps it's cheaper to make a new Muppets show in France, then dub in voices when it's sold to different countries. Keep in mind the original show was made in England because that's were the $$$ came from...maybe a wealthy Frenchman has made Disney an offer?

How knows? We'll have to wait and see where this goes...

folks, keep in mind this is experimental ,what ever it is , that what every inside source has said, i really would not expect to see this anytime soon.
