Does anyone remember a bird named Floyd Fluter Tuter? He was in one episode in the 25th Season that had him land on Sesame Street, and he was an endangered species, and Big Bird, and Maria ended up taking him to a real wildlife park for endangered animals, and he got to meet other Fluter Tuter's. At the end they all sang. I always wished this episode would have ended differently and had Floyd deciding to stay on Sesame Street. He was performed by Kevin Clash. I think he would have made a very good regular, because he wasn't a one note charachter, and the writers could have easily developed his personality more. Also it wouldv'e been nice to have another bird on Sesame Street. Kind of like a modern version of Little Bird, who was on SS during the first 2 seasons. But I guess there was so many charachters on the show at the time, they didn't think it was neccasary to make FFT a regular.

That's true. Maybe he was created just to show kids about endangered species or something.

I do remember this episode & I THINK it may have been shown as a "123 Sesame Street" on Noggin. A fun episode.

Perhaps someone can confirm something for me. When they go to the bird sanctuary to look for a home for Floyd, they meet up with a female birdwatcher with dark hair & glasses. I am 98% sure that the birdwatcher is played by actress Blair Brown. I haven't seen her in many films, but she had a role in Paul Simon's "One trick Pony" and in the TV miniseries "Kennedy." Can anyone who has seen the episode confirm that that was her?
