Finding a job

You're not the only one! I've had a heap of trouble finding a job in Champaign, IL. Eventually, I might make plans to move up to live with my step-parents in a small town called Mobridge, SD.

That's what my parents suggested, find a job that still involves animals like working in a grooming salon, working at PetSmart or maybe a pet-sitter. In the meantime, I'm still looking for a vet tech job, if I don't find anything, I'll look into those areas of work, at least it'll involve animals.

That is good advice. It's important to keep busy because very often in interviews they will ask you "So what are you doing with your time?" And if you can say it's something to do with animals that would really look good.

Everyone is having trouble finding jobs, you aren't alone. Just have to keep trying until something comes up.

Well, still nothing in the animal field. At this point, I have no other options but to start applying to jobs that don't involve animals especially because of the government shutdown and my dad isn't getting paid because of it, now there's even more pressure to find a job. I already applied for a job as a pharmacy technician at a nearby Winn-Dixie and I may have to apply for a job where my mom works in Worker's Comp. which doesn't sound like fun at all, but at this point I have to find something. I've been pretty stressed lately and angry about this, I just hope I find a job with animals eventually.
