let's list all of the locations where various Henson shows were produced.

The Muppet Show- England.
Sesame Street- New York.
The Storyteller- probably England.
Fraggle Rock- Canada.
The Jim Henson Hour- Canada.
Sam and Friends- Washington, D.C.

Where were other shows (like Muppets Tonight and Bear In The Big Blue House) filmed?

Muppets Tonight was taped at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA., across the street from Paramount Studios.

If this wasn't made in england, then I wonder why this show had extra scenes not shown in the american version.

I think it has something to do with British TV programs running slightly longer than the US ones but I could be wrong.
