Hey ya, guys...boy, I remember seeing many segments that are sponsored by the letter S. I saw many of them on 123 Sesame Street episodes (in case I called them, 'Sesame Street Re-paved', episodes from 1999-2000). Mine were...

The 'Sammy the Snake' claymation from the premiere episode from November 10, 1969. Sammy sounds like Henson's, and ends with the snowman named Hubert and he does not start with S!

I have few of the 'S' segments on tape. They're on one of the 123 Sesame Street shows from the year 2000. They were...

The limerick segment-S, snail
S-snake (a very old animated segment)
Weird live film where kids explore in the jungle to search for the letter S

I also remember seeing quite some of them on episode #3900 where Lulu, Elmo and Miles write a story about the princess that had very, very long hair. They were...

A live film segment with the female voice saying, "S is for shadow, S is for soccer balls, S is for sand, S is for slide."
Animated tree grows to the cloud as the branches form the letter S
Animation (similar to the 'O' and 20 ones) where strange animal-like creatures dance and form the letter S
S-Square film segment
The country 'S' song

I also remember some of the other 'S' segments were...

The 'S' segment that says some words like scream, stop, sorry, etc. The background is light-blueish
S, You're the Best film segment
The animated snail telling the story about the letter S
-shown on the Season 30 episode where Rosita wants to be a Bird-keteer

Alphaquest-S
Letters In Sand Animation-S
-shown on the Season 25 episode where Big Bird sees the new baby

What are your favorite 'S' segments?

Somebody get the feeling that this thread should've been titled: "This Thread Brought to you by the Letter S"?

Here are a few of mine memories.
1 Sammy the Snake, the green and violet striped snake, singing "The Sound of the Letter S."
2 Sammy the Snake, the yellow and orange diamondback snake, singing "Hello Sammy" with Carol Chandling and the S-Girls.
3 An old animated segment where this blue human person asks if we know any words that start with S, and ends up getting a cold from being out in the cold snow.
4 An animated segment with six S-named vehicles that start coming forward faster and faster until they all fade into one blurr. Some of the vehicles were a subway train and a sailboat.
5 The story segment that featured classic animation about six snakes who went to surf down at the sunny sandy shores and brought themselves sandwiches, soup and salad for lunch, finishing their picnic with succulent suckers.
Hope this helps and have a good day.
