A muppet who I think was Farley went to the Lost and Found to look for his lost toybox. The muppet in charge of the lost and found asked Farley for a description of the toybox. Everytime the he found a box that fit Farley's description, Farley added another feature that he did not say before. This happens about 3 or 4 times and FINALLY the last description of the box is found just in time for Farley to discover that he had HIS toybox in his pocket all the time but didn't know. Farley walks away and the man I think faints.

I remember seeing this on one of the Unpaved Shows that aired on Noggin a few years back. It was good to see Farley, because growing up as a child in the 80's I only got to see him in storybooks and hear his voice on old Albums. There's another skit with him that I saw on Unpaved were he is in a hat shop and the owner keeps giving him a hat that is too big and goes over his eyes. Do you remember this one as well?

Actually, I seem to recall that when Farley finally found his toybox in his pocket, Farley happily walked off, after which the man threw all the other boxes out the window in frustration. He did still have the smallest ones in his hands at the end , though. I'm pretty sure there was some closing music.

One thing I always wondered is, who ever heard of a toybox being so tiny? I mean, how many toys could he possibly keep in there? Unless, maybe it was not a "toybox" but a "toy box", as opposed to a real box. If so, does he, like many kids, play with the carton in which THAT came in?

I suppose since Sesame Street is designed in essence as a preschool children's show jokes were designed in situations so silly that would tend to appear to juvenile's sense of humour. Preschool kids would never stop to question the irrationality of these things we adults pick up.
Of course this doesn't stop us devout Henson fans from watching and enjoying Sesame Street. If people think we're childish they are just blind to the genius of Henson puppetry:halo:
