Hi there... Just thought a word on this subject was perhaps needed. There's nothing wrong in asking other, more talented long-standing MC fanfic authors either helping or writing fanfic stories for you. It might be that your own efforts make you feel personally that these others are much better at expressing the narrative than you have in past attempts. This in turn also helps you yourself develop or flesh out the ideas until a coherrent outline is hatched, creating something that both you creator and the writer are immensely happy with. But I also feel that such requests should be communicated privately either via the forum's mailer or PM. Also, please be curtios and patient. If you do not hear a reply, then it might be that this request has gone for not. If this should happen, perhaps a reminder would be appropriate, but do not bombard these members with repeated requests as this may annoy them to the point of not even considering fit to answer. Just trying to help people here, as we all benefit from the creativity of so vast and wide an array of imaginative members wanting to have their ideas tell the story behind their inception.

Hope this helps and have a good day.

I don't quite understand, was someone pming someone with requests? Is this topic meant for requesting stories itself? I've found that all and all it is sometimes better just to put requests in a single topic like this out in the open. Who knows, if you have a very good idea you might get three different authors that want to do it, and then because everyone writes differently, three very different one shots based off the same plot that you would have never had otherwise !

Hi Becky. This was in response to a certain member "badgering" others for them to write stories/outlines for them. Badgering... Hopefully not with a skunk, as the results of that were awful strong. I hope that something, erm, yes. Sorry for any confusion.
