Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else has used EVA soft foam balls in their puppet building before (they're mentioned in the Foam Book). These are the hard yellow foam balls that often come with Nerf toys. I love using them, but the big problem for me has always been trying to find them at a reasonable price. Often you only get them one or two at a time and you have to purchase some kind of expensive NERF toy to get them.

Well I was out shopping today and found tons of them for sale at Wal-Mart! They were four to a package and cost just $1.49 (about $1 US). They are manufactured by a company called "Athletic Works" and sold as soft foam golf practice balls. I noticed on the package of the ones I bought they were specially imported to Canada by Wal-Mart but chances are they probably have them in the U.S. too.

Let me know if anyone else finds these.

I usually use them for noses, but sometimes eyes. It just really depends on what I'm doing.
