This skit was a bit similar to the one where Bert had a purple hand. Here's the way I remember it:

Bert is feeling a draft, so Ernie lets him use a shawl from one of his relatives. Bert is appreciative, but Ernie cannot leave well enough alone, so he keeps putting all kinds of winter clothes on Bert. Finally, after being all bundled up, Bert yells, "I'm hot and bothered!" Ernie says, "I have just the thing from someone hot and bothered, cool air!" Ernie then turns on the fan, prompting Bert to chase him around the house in fury.

If anyone remembers anymore details, please let me know.

actually Bert says. i'm hot! i feel broiling hot! Ernie gives Bert an ice bag, opens the window, turns on the fan. asks bert how do you feel now? Bert says. leave me alone!
