Dave Barry is hilarious. You definitely have to take a lot of what he writes with a grain of salt, but stuff like the toilet summit is actually real. Barry makes up a lot of facts, like the U.S. Government's motto: "We Do Have a Motto, But We Don't Know Where It Is", or "According to the American Association of School Teachers Who Get The Whole Summer Off and You Don't Ha Ha Ha, to meet federal education standards, "every item your child takes to school, including dental braces, must be festooned with a licensed cartoon character such as The Little Mermaid or Leonardo DiCaprio"."
I put Dave Barry up there with Conan O'Brien and Steve Martin in the laughs department.
