For years I've been wondering what made Kermit jiggle around and go "WHOOOOO!!!" in surprise when Herry made the X-ray machine show his skeleton. Surely he shouldn't be feeling anything, I reason, especially since hte machine showed no ill effects on Herry. Can anyone take a gander?

Dunno about that, but two weeks ago I was at a conference where one of the speakers was Jerry Lieberman, the animation producer whose studio provided the "body parts" animation for that skit. He ran a reel showing some of his studio's work over the years. (people laughed out loud at Herry's line "Whoa, look at that definition!") Probably the best-remembered thing his studio did was the "It's the plumber, I've come to fix the sink" cartoon for The Electric Company.

All I can say about that machine is that somehow Herry knew something about it that Kermit didn't. :smirk:
