eBay Warning: Kevin's "Kermit and Jim" Photo Hijacked

I wanted to offer up a warning to not purchase from a guy on e-bay. He has stolen a photograph that belongs to a friend of mine and I and is offering it up for sale, having removed our ownership tags from the image.

We've never offered the image for sale or given permission to sell it because it means something to us.

The photo has been removed and the listing has now changed to a Mischa Barton photo, although no photo has been put up yet.

I saw that image on the internet somewhere recently. I thought it was really nice. I actually thought it was an official Muppet picture. You did a really great job with that. Very touching.

I had also seen that image recently on an entertainment website, and I thought it was an official picture as well. Thank you for sharing the story with us and I hope that eBay has resolved this issue.

Perhaps a larger watermark is needed to discourage such blatant pilfering?

E-bay removed the image; but, it keeps showing up in places being desecrated.

If you see it online, please feel free to take up the argument and ask them to remove it as they don't own it, and you can link them back to my story on our website.
