I think I like the varient Gonzo better than the original. I want the variant but I can't find it. This looks like a job for online buying. The nose isn't that bad. If you compare the nose on the figures to what we see on newer Gonzo muppets, you'll see that it's not that far off. The Gonzo on the box has a weird nose. It's probably from an older model or something.

As always - a great review. I like this version too. I wish we could remove his helmet, but that's about all I would add. I know it would have meant his missing hair tuft would be exposed, but I think they could have worked around that. Just a picky point though.

I liked the solid cape better. I wish the regular Gonzo had a solid red cape.

The nose color is too blue. I like that they have tried to sponge different colors together to make it more natural, but I hope they will go for a purpler color in the tux version --- the ultimate Gonzo!

Yes it is a little too blue, but it's not that bad when you compare it to the "real thing". Maybe palisades should start with a purple base and then add the blue instead of the other way around. Still, the more I look at the Gonzo figure the more it grows on me.
