Does anyone remember this SS story from the 70's?

Bob went out of his apartment and was going to put some letters the mailbox near Big Bird's place. Until Big Bird rushed to him begging Bob not to go over there and mail those letters for he spotted 3 dangers along the way.

First Big Bird pointed to Luis on a ladder doing some painting on top of Hooper's Store. Big Bird cried, "What if you walk past Luis and a rushing elephant comes by and knocks over the ladder causing Luis to drop his paint bucket and land on your head?" Bob just laughed and walked past the store unharmed.

Then Big Bird pointed to some kids bouncing a ball near the tire swing. Big Bird cried, "What if that ball bounces into a nearby boxing kangaroo's pouch and you try to get the ball back and the kangaroo beats you up?" Bob just shook his head and passed the kids and no kangaroo showed up at all.

Finally, Big Bird pointed near the steps where it showed Biff drilling a hole in the street with a jackhammer. Big Bird told Bob, "What if a bunch of worms crawl out of the hole and you slip on them causing you to fall down that deep hole?" Bob once again just passed by unharmed.

Big Bird was begging Bob not to mail those letters, but Bob smiled and simply opened the mailbox and put the letters in. And a surprised Big Bird goes, "How did he do that?"

[details snipped for space]

That's one way to teach kids "Don't let your imagination run away with you"...I haven't seen the sketch you described, but it sounds like it's worth looking for.
