Looks to me like a difference in lighting, rather than a difference in the costume.

I kinda think it's the lightning that makes the first one look scary, but I do see what you mean. :smile:

And difference in angle. I always wondered? Wht the shell does Big Bird wear a tie in walkaround forms? is it like Yogi Bear having to wear a tie or something?
