Hi, All-

I have a pretty vivid recollection of a SS song/skit, maybe in the early to mid-80's, where the singer bears a striking resemblance to Bruce Springsteen, complete with bandana, raspy voice, etc.

I don't believe this song appears on "Born To Add", which is kind of strange.

Does anybody remember this skit, and the song title?

Thanks!!!!!!

If you're refering to the character known as Bruce Stringbean, then yes he was kind of cool. That SS Muppet character performed two spoof songs, not sure if both made to different albums. There's the signature spoof "Born to Add", a true classic which includes Clyde the saxophonist from his S Street Band, and then there's "Barn in the USA" performed with a bunch of barnyard animal Muppets.
Hope this helps and have a good night.
