Doctor bunsen puppet

I'm gonna make a Dr. Bunson Honeydew puppet like this :

-Take a cubic foot of green foam
-make a sphere out of it.
-put a hole in the bottom and a hole for the mouth
-glue glasses on
-put sharpie inside mouth


any suggestions?

If you haven't already, you might want to check out the posts in Patrick Johnson's Puppet Design Blog from December 2006 about the alien he made at the Creature Shop (scroll down to the bottom of the page and start reading from there). Also, John Kennedy's "Puppet Planet" book has some good tips for carving puppets from foam.
