Hi everyone,

I've started a new blog about digital puppetry called Machin-X. It's a mixture of news and thoughts about digital puppetry and also a sort of project blog for the two pieces of digital puppetry software I've been working on.

Check it out and please come back often!

We're going to have to call you the Blogateer.

Seriously, this is cool. You dig up information that I want to know but don't have the time to find. You're like psychic-google or something.

Have you ever thought about project blogging digital editing and junk? I know the Bear Town blog was informative on the building end, but I didn't really poke around to see if there was much in the way of "how to" video stuff. I do remember you documenting shooting some of the footage.

Well part of what I want to do with Machin-X is do more in-depth stuff, but I will probably only be posting a few times a week rather than daily, like I do with PuppetVision. There will be a lot of "project blogging" as I work on the two digital puppetry systems I am doing.

If you're looking for a really detailed project blog with conventional puppetry I highly recommend Puppet 101, written by Swazzle's Sean Johnson.

Yeah, I love Sean's Blog.

Do you know of any blogs that deal with green-screen techniques and/or video editing? That's going to be the basis of my next project.
