Well, first of all- hello everybody. I've spent some time surfing around here and it's nice to see such a friendly group posting on such friendly matters.

Being a huge fan of dark crystal and brian froud's designs, then the news of the orphanage doing dark crystal two; I decided I would try my hand at a 3D replica of a skeksis, specifically skekTek.

As I've noticed there are people much greater dark crystal experts here than myself, I am asking for your opinions and critiques if you would be so kind as to lend your minds.

here it is:

This is not the finished product- he still needs to have the surface detail, and of course the colors and textures added. I would just like to hear some suggestions for change before moving on. Oh yeah, the orange was only chosen to dileneate the different pieces of the model.

Thanks all,

defago
