Wading through a variety of items collected over the years, I have rediscovered my Dark Crystal Promo book - something I gather are not that thick on the ground. I'm interested in finding out more about it. While I see they came in two different cover colors, mine has the brown cover. As well, where descriptions of these mention a picture of a skeksis showing through the diecut on the cover, mine has a "holographic" image. Any info about this item would be appreciated. Thanks.

There were several of these released as a promotion. Some had the hologram and some didn't. The hologram was basically a sticker that was placed over the picture of SkekTek. The white cover copy is a promo to this promo book (only five pages)!

I own all three! My white cover copy was owned by Gary Kurtz!

The hologram artist is still making holograms and still works for the same company!
