Thanks for the info...my daughters have the sideshow dolls, and I stress the word "dolls". They were a gift to them from their uncle who picked them up in germany of all places. He thought they would keep them in the boxes as collectibles pieces, but none the luck...they were out in 3.2 seconds.
They are cute but I think they did a rotten job on Kiera's little pet.

I wish I could find real figures or figurines that could be displayed. The sideshow toys were just too big and looked too much like a toy.
Hopes for another fantasy movie from Henson workshop!!!!
My girls love labarynth and the dark crystal.

Have you seen the Dark Crystal busts? They are a bit expensive, but they are pretty nice. You can usually find some on ebay. Here are a few examples:

Bah, only United States, no Europe. Unfortunately the figure of SkekTek is not available yet. :frown:

I finally got around to painting these last year, but forgot to update this thread, so I thought I'd share a picture of my custom Dark Crystal diorama - the Mystics are based off the pewter miniatures, but these are done in resin and painted. I also painted the 'great conjunction' on the base - as seen in the Mystics camp.

It turned out nice. I like the idea with the great conjunctuion symbol. Well done!

Really cool!

I agree, the 'sand painting' of the symbol on the base ads a nice authentic touch.

Awesome job! Thanks for taking the time to share this project here with us!

I thought I'd update this thread, because I made another custom DC Mystic, but this time with the Funko Reaction figure. Below shows my original diorama as well.
