Something Iv'e noticed on the show is, In the episode A Friend in Need when Sprocket gets stuck in the Fraggle hole and Gobo gets to know him better and comes to his rescue, it seems as though Gobo and Sprocket become friends, and the whole Fraggle/Hairy Monster war came to and end. Well that seems to be how the way it went after this because we didn't really see Gobo go to outerspace much after this and if he did there was no conflict with Sprocket. Seems they added different conflicts to the next few episodes in Season 2 that dealt with outerspace. In one of them the Secret of Convincing John, Doc was working on some plumbing and had a big portion of the floor pulled up and Gobo tried to get his postcard without falling through. In another one, Manny's Land of Carpets, a radio was found by Gobo during his trip to outerspace and the plot dealt with that one. Now the next Season, you didn't really see Gobo go into outerspace at all, except for one episode, Gobo's School for explorers, and here's where the continuity error is. Sprocket chases Gobo, and seems to have gone back to his old ways. Gobo also seems to have gone back to his old ways of being scared of him, he even tells Red, that Hairy Creature sure is in a nasty mood today, stay back. Then when the 4th Season started with Sprocket's big adventure things went back to how they were, with Sprocket and Gobo getting along. What do the rest of you think of all of this?

Well, actually, I would say the "he's in a bad mood" explains the issue entirely. Have you ever tried to talk to someone you like, friend or family, and they inexplicably blow up at you -- mostly because they are having private issues elsewhere? It was like that. Sprocket already is easily frustrated because neither Gobo nor Doc usually understand him. Heck, even my own dogs get that way.

ah yes, now that you mention it, I do remember Doc making Sprocket help him put a doggie door up in that episode, and Doc was being very dependent on the instructions. Sprocket probably didn't feel like having any "company" that day. haha
