College students, anyone else had to come home because of the Coronavirus?

I am so sad because my University got in person classes cancelled because of the Coronavirus. This means I won't get to see my University friends until at least April 14th when it's planning on opening back up! I love them all and I will miss them. 😢

We still have online classes which I will take from home.

Strangely enough, the dining halls and dorms are still open. It literally makes zero sense that in person classes were cancelled but the dining halls and dorms are still open.

I had plans to hang out with some of them and those were cancelled.

Did anyone else have to come home?

It’s too bad you won’t see your friends for a while. Yes, it’s disappointing, but one of life’s lessons is dealing with disappointment.
In layman’s terms, crap happens.
