I've heard that there are plans for a "naked" Rowlf in a future release, but I just wanted to make sure it was really going to happen. I know that if I wait to buy the tuxedo Rowlf it will be too late and then I'll have no Rowlf at all.

I have nothing against tuxedo Rowlf, I'm seriously thinking of getting that one as well, but I like the au natural Rowlf more.

P.S Any word or idea on what his accesories might be?

P.P.S. Love the line, folks!

Please ignore the typo in my sig it was late when I registered.

Hello and welcome!

A reg Rowlf fig has been made and they are retooling it for later, they will defantly make this one, he will most likey come with a piano again, if it's a baby grand it would maybe be a brown color but i'm hoping for a brown upright piano, that way we would have two different ones. maybe a Candlelabra would come with him too.

the Tux Rowlf comes with a beetoven bust which was a talking bust on the muppet show and a black baby grand piano.

hopfuly a Dr. Bob ( Rowlf as a doctor/vet) will come out too.

Hey Baud Girl--

1) The rumor is indeed that Naked Rowlf has been produced, but he's not currently on the schedule with a firm release date. This means he's over a year away. If I were you (I'm not, btw), I'd pick up Tuxedo Rowlf to tide you over...that way if you need a date to any formal occasions you can take him with you, and that black baby grand is too darn sweet to pass up! Spend 7-8 bucks now, spend it again a year from now.

2) Naked Rowlf DOES still have fur.

3) I hope...we had to shave my German Shepherd once and that was scary.

4) I like your signature--Lemony Snicket is the best. Well, one of the best. In a freaky way. I'm trying to decide if I'm ready to start "The Hostile Hospital" yet. I should probably do homework instead. Or get off the !#$!@#$ internet.

Hope that answered your questions. And didn't scare you away. Welcome to Muppet Central!!!

Thanks for the welcome.

I too am hoping for a brown upright piano for the second Rowlf, isn't that what he usually played on the Muppet Show? My memory is a little hazy on the details.

I probably will get the tux version too, just as a precaution. And as Quinn said that baby grand is pretty sweet. But now that TRU isn't going to be carrying the line anymore it means there's only one store that carries the Muppet line left in my town. And all my limited resources are going to be consentrated on getting the Kitchen set. And finding somewhere to put all this stuff.

To Quinn: 'The Hostile Hospital' is especially enjoyable if you're familiar with well known literary characters and their plights. And they list this as kid's stuff.

Acording to my sopurce, which are posts that I read and don't remeber who posted them  , Rowlf played the baby grand more than the upright. Although, the baby grand was brown and so reg Rowlf was probably suppose to come with a brown baby grand. He may come with the upright though since everyone seems to remeber him with that one.

I have to return my Rowlf tomorrow. Because his ear keeps falling off. I just hope that they have more of them in the morning.

If memory serves, he used to play the grand during episodes - but we saw him with the upright during the credits on every episode. Maybe that's why we associate him with it?

That's exactly what I thought. He played the grand in his showtune and solo performance numbers, but the upright in the closing credits and for any honkytonk-style songs.

Thread change

What if the thread had instead been Clothing Optional Byron?

"I've heard that there are plans for a "naked" Byron in a future release, but I just wanted to make sure it was really going to happen. I know that if I wait to buy the clothed Byron it will be too late and then I'll have no Byron at all.

I have nothing against clothed Byron, I'm seriously thinking of getting that one as well, but I like the au natural Byron more.

P.S Any word or idea on what his accesories might be?"
