I think this cut may have been intended for foreign sales. Did you notice how it doesn't have the title card at the beginning or on screen graphics?

This maybe seen on Play with Me Sesame on PBS Kids Sprout. I know on Play with Me Sesame, They use the international video (without the title card).

Years before Peter Linz became Ernie's official performer in 2017, he filled in for Steve Whitmire in this video of a family's visit to Sesame Street made in 2006. It's kinda surreal seeing him play Ernie alongside Kevin Clash as Elmo.
