You can pretty much tell this was right around the time they had just put a fresh coat of paint on Big Bird's doors.

Watching the scenes from episode 1875, with Snuffy buying pants and having to pay, I wonder, who saw him pay? Somebody at the store must have seen him pay for the pants. Maybe they were too busy to see who was buying what, or maybe they actually had a Snuffleupagus employed (I was actually expecting the salesman to say that he's seen such a creature, even if not to Gordon). Funny how genre savvy Big Bird was, saying "maybe you'll get to see Gordon and the salesman.. Oh, probably not", and then saying the same to them about meeting Snuffy.
