This is lame as it is very late. I'm in Cincinatti, OH, today (Sat) through Sunday sometime. I know that in the morning I'm going to try to go to the Newport Aquarium (from around 10 or 11 am until 2 pm).

So, who at MC is in Cincinatti, and how do you reckon we can hook up and say hi? I always like to meet up with my fellow MCers!

If you're sending any personal contact information, of course, PM me and I'll get in touch.

Kev

UPDATE--MAN! I wish I'd posted something here a LONG time ago. There ain't NOTHING to do here that I can tell.

First off, you spelled my town wrong.....it's Cincinnati. Don't worry though, a lot of people spell it wrong. Anyways, there are a lot of different things to do up here, there's Sawyer Point, Fountain Square, I don't know about what else is open around the winter time. I mean, I would've suggested Coney Island, or Kings Island, maybe the Beach waterpark. I would pick up a CitiBeat or a CinWeekly, they would have a list of things to do while you're up here. I would be working this weekend, and I don't drive, but if I did, I wouldn't have minded saying hi or something.

Hey there. Well, I got it right in the thread title (patting myself on back for that).

I walked up to Fountain Square and saw the skating rink and took pictures of the beautiful fountain--although there's no water (and this time of year I don't blame them).

Shame we can't meet up and hang out. Maybe next time (if I'm lucky to come stay longer). Thanks for the advice, though; I'll grab one of those magazines and see what's up.

Oh yeah, it was a lot better in my opinion before they spent all that money renovating it. But you're right, maybe you can be here when it's a little warmer outside. You know, when the water is flowing, and everything. Hope you enjoy your visit and hope those magazines help ya. Actually, they're papers but.......eh, you know what I mean.

Well, I"m back in Memphis now. The snow was--yucky. It got COLD! I did get the bus to the Newport, KY, Aquarium and that was wonderful. Memphis' aquarium is a tiny little building with a few fish in it.

I did love what little I got to see of the city, though; and seeing the skyline on the way down was beautiful.

Oh yeah, the Skyline is a great thing, I don't think I've seen the Aquarium yet, but if I did, I'll never go to pet the sharks. That just seems like a something bad waiting to happen. But, yeah, the snow on Sunday sucked. Especially working in it.
