Chicago puppet slam looking for submissions

Calling all puppeteers! Sea Beast Puppet Company has teamed up with the Chicago Puppetry Guild for the 2nd year in a row to host Puppet Meltdown a late night puppet showcase on July 21st at 9pm at Gorilla Tango Theater's new space in the Skokie Theater. Our event last year was a huge success and we hope to repeat it again this year. We are currently looking for a wide range of short puppet pieces, both live and film, to showcase at this evening of performances. Pieces need to be no longer than 10 minutes and geared towards an adult audience.

Submissions are due by June 1st. So if you have something hilarious, outrageous, naughty, poignant, absurd or unusual that you would like to perform, please visit our website www.seabeastpuppetry.com to download an application and email it in.
