I'm from the West Burbs! I haven't found a ton of stuff going on, but theres a few groups at work here. I thought about starting a Meetup group.. interested?

I'm in the west burbs too. I think a Meet-up is a good idea. I've talked about starting monthly meetings with the guys that run "Opera in Focus" ( http://www.operainfocus.com ) at the Rolling Meadows park district where they have a 60 seat theater. They're open to it.
