It's been about a week since her passing, but since I didn't see it listed elsewhere yet I thought I'd post a note about Celia Cruz, the queen of Salsa.

She crossed paths with the Muppets when she sang songs on Sesame Street and she seemed to naturally enjoy working with them. I remember her singing to Big Bird and during the song her tickling his feathery tummy. Did she appear with the Muppets in any other capacity?

She's credited on Sesame Street videos "Put Down the Ducky" and in "Fiesta".

I feel bad for saying this, but I don't remember her. Anybody got a picture?

She was also in the Buena Vista Social Club. Check out the movie (documentary) Kevin.

She was very talented and will be missed.
