Would anyone know if there were EVER any episodes of "Sesame Street" that featured crossover appearances of any cast members (in cameo roles as other characters) from other CTW shows, such as "The Electric Company", "3-2-1 Contact", or "Square One TV"? I've been wondering about this after looking at this book about Jim Henson called "Imagination-Illustrated" and reading about this very rare ABC special called "Out to Lunch" with the casts of both SS and TEC appearing together in a series of skits and musical numbers. It seems really interesting, but I'm just curious if there were any episodes of "Sesame Street" featuring any cast members from CTW-produced shows. I may be mistaken, but I seem to vaguely recall seeing Larry Cedar (red-haired man from "Square One TV") appearing on "Sesame Street" from around the time "Square One TV" was in production. It would make sense for these crossovers, since these shows were all taped in the same studios as "Sesame Street" was at the time. "Sesame Street" in seasons 1-14 was taped at Reeves Teletape, as was "The Electric Company" and the early seasons of "3-2-1 Contact", and seasons 14-24 (I believe) of "Sesame Street" were taped at Unitel Studios along with "Square One TV".

WOW! That episode seems so cool! Just think, there are probably tons of other "Sesame Street" episodes that we're not even aware of yet. I never would've guessed such an episode had existed, but it's just so possible since both "Sesame Street" and "The Electric Company" were taped in the same studio. That's exactly like when Archie and Edith Bunker appeared on "The Jeffersons" (of course that show was a spinoff of "All in the Family"), or when various cast members from "Cheers" would make frequent appearances on "Frasier", Lillith being one of them.

I know Oscar the Grouch did cross over to "The Electric Company" one time.

Bill Cosby, who starred in "The Electric Company", did appear in several Sesame sketches.

I wonder if anybody from "Ghostwriter" appeared on Sesame Street in the 1990s, considering that "Ghostwriter" was a CTW production?
