Stop. Stop it.
No more apologies, gang. Just stop doing everything you're doing and get back on track. You're all here for the same reason which is to be a fan of Jim Henson and his works, and I'm sick and tired of the in-fighting in these boards. Everybody is at blame in one way or another, whether starting it, responding to it, or continuing it.
I'm very disappointed with everyone that, after all the hard work Jim Henson did all those years, this is what it's been diluted to.
Yesterday (10/23) Kimp promised me he'd try to do better, and I expect everyone to do the same thing. Let's just all forget whatever the cause was in the past and try to make a new go of things because, if you don't, then the infighting will continue and those who've left will never see a reason to come back. In the meantime after today, Oct 24th, he's being watched and he knows it, he made a promise and I expect him to keep it. In the meantime, I do not expect to see folks trying to call him out or responding to anything--if you're offended, contact the moderators.
Kimp, I suggest that in the future when you apologize to someone you DO NOT also include a reason for doing anything you've done in the past OR that you include your accusation why you were upset with someone. Just apologize when you apologize! I have learned that sometimes it's okay to just let sleeping dogs lay, and make an apology (even if it means you have to take the heat for something you did or didn't do) especially when it benefits everyone down the road. I promise you that advice is solid and will help you in the future if you just heed it.
I want to post here as a FAN and a FRIEND, not as a Moderator, but you're all making me have to do it, and it makes my job hard AND ultimately it's going to cause feelings to be hurt when I HAVE to be fair and whether it's a friend or acquaintance I have to follow the rules.
I do NOT want to see another argument, I do NOT want to see anybody calling anybody else out. IF you take offense to something someone has said you have one of two options:
1) Sign off and respond later when you are not as offended or angry, or
2) Notify your moderator.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS?
CONTACT YOUR MODERATORS!!!
This is all I'm saying on this subject after now. Period.
I'm going to begin posting as a fan after I close this thread, but if I have to be a Moderator and start playing hard-ball, I will. Obviously, there's a chain of command and I will be in contact with Phil when I deem it necessary.
I am upset by all of this, honestly, and very disappointed.
Kevin
